About Victoria Pagonis
I've spent my career inside K-12 education from almost every angle — as a classroom teacher, curriculum director, assistant superintendent, and president of several education organizations. That range of experience gave me something most consultants don't have: I know what instruction looks like in the classroom and in the district office.

What I kept seeing, at every level, was the same gap. Districts were working hard. Teachers were working hard. And students were still underprepared for state assessments — not because the content wasn't being taught, but because daily instruction and assessment weren't asking students to think in the same ways.

That gap is what NJSLA Support exists to close.

When New Jersey moved to the NJSLA on the Cambium platform, I saw an opportunity to build something specific: a set of tools, workshops, and materials that help districts align what happens in classrooms every day with what the NJSLA actually demands. Not test prep. Not practice packets. Instruction that builds the right kind of thinking from September through June, so that by the time students sit for the assessment, they're ready — because they've been doing this work all year.

Everything we build starts with your curriculum, your texts, and your students. That's not a tagline. It's the only way this works.

Your curriculum. Your students. Our expertise.
