Educational computer program
Path 2: Direct Delivery

Required for:

  • Understanding the NJSLA on Cambium: A Foundation for Educators (All educators & instructional leaders, 2–3 hours) — Reduces anxiety and guesswork by making the test's design and demands as transparent as the evidence allows. Participants walk through the Cambium interface as students do, conduct a DOK deep dive, dissect NJSLA items, and identify concrete instructional moves to make in the next two weeks.

  • Leadership Planning Lab: Using NJSLA Design to Drive Improvement (District & school leadership teams, half day) — A working session, not a presentation. Leadership teams arrive with their curriculum documents and benchmark assessments and work through a structured expert-guided audit of where their program aligns with NJSLA demands — and where it doesn't. Teams leave with a realistic first draft of a 1–2 year improvement plan built from their own curriculum.

  • Understanding NJSLA-Adaptive Math (Principals, APs, math supervisors, coaches & test coordinators, 2–3 hours) — Gives math leadership teams the structural knowledge they need to evaluate whether their math program is building the right kinds of thinking, and the data literacy to act immediately when first NJSLA results arrive.

Available by request for any other workshop in the catalogue when you want the program designer in the room.
